As an affiliate of Land and Lakes, Land and Lakes Development Co. (formerly Poplar Ridge Estates Development Co.) was formed in 1990. LALD specializes in the development of residential, commercial and industrial real estate properties. Our expertise lies in site selection, land purchase, negotiation of entitlements and annexation, site design, land improvements and the formation of associations to facilitate projects.  LALD provides services in the areas of development of residential subdivisions; park districts; assisted living communities; industrial parks; complexes for education, recreation, retail, and business use; installation of streets, sewers and other public land improvements; and wetland remediation. In conjunction with the excavation services available through Land and Lakes, we have the unique ability to provide a full circle of services from site selection through final development.
