Land and Lakes Development Co. (LALD), formerly Poplar Ridge Estates Development Co., was established in 1990. LALD owns, or is in control of, more than 3,000 acres in the greater metropolitan Chicago area and continues to seek development opportunities in Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin.

LALD specializes in the development of residential, commercial and industrial real estate properties. Our expertise lies in site selection, land purchase, negotiation of entitlements and annexation, site design, land improvements and the formation of homeowner associations to facilitate the transfer of ownership of residential subdivisions.
