Park Ridge, IL (July 30, 2008)

Land and Lakes Development Company is pleased to announce the ceremonial groundbreaking for Bluff Point III in Romeoville, Illinois will be held on Wednesday, August 6 at 10:00 am at Bluff Point Business Park on the southeast corner of Joliet and Bluff Roads. The developer / owner, Land and Lakes Company, will be joined by Romeoville Mayor John Noak, several Village of Romeoville officials, and members of the project team for the event.
Bluff Point III, or 821 Bluff Road, is the third industrial building of this 28-acre business park. The 506,777-square-foot building, divisible to 250,000 square feet, will be located adjacent to Bluff Road at Joliet Road, in close proximity of I-55 and near the intersection of I-55 and I-355 offering excellent access to I-88, I-80 and I-294. The structure will be a state-of-the-art facility with 80 exterior docks, 50 foot by 50 foot bays and 48 (expandable to 120) trailer stalls. The development was designed, and will be constructed, applying sustainable principles. The building will be available for tenancy in late 2008.

“Land and Lakes is committed to this submarket. We believe the location of Bluff Point III is superior,” said Mary Margaret Cowhey, Chief Executive Officer of Land and Lakes Development Company. She added, “Based upon our recent success of finding two Fortune 500 companies as single-user tenants for Bluff Point I and II, we remain optimistic for our new building, despite current market conditions.”
