Poplar Ridge was the first single-family subdivision developed by Land & Lakes Development Co. Situated in Romeoville, in Will County , Poplar Ridge is located on the south side of Romeo Road (or 135th Street ) approximately one mile east of Weber Road .

The 50-acre community features 179 single-family homes which are reached through a boulevard style entry from Romeo Road .
